Southern Society for Coatings Technology Membership
The Southern Society offers you educational opportunities, therefore, allowing you to learn more about technologies that may directly impact your work. It also gives you opportunities to interact and network with your peers. Registration discounts are offered to all current members for the Southern Society’s Annual Meeting in which the most up to-date technology is presented at the 3 half day technical program.
Any individual who is employed by or retired from a manufacturer of the products of the protective or decorative coatings, printing ink, or allied industries, or by those firms that manufacture or sell raw materials, supplies, services or equipment required by those industries is eligible for membership. A college or high school educator or a student registered in an educational institution of recognized standing in a course of study in chemistry, engineering, physics or other related sciences leading to a degree are also eligible for membership.
The following describes the territorial boundaries of the Society to include but are not limited to the following:
“All of the following states: Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and all of Louisiana east of the Mississippi River as well as that part of Louisiana west of the Mississippi and south of the 31st parallel.”
The Southern Society has two active sections: Atlanta and Florida. More information regarding the local sections can be found on the Southern Society’s website at www.ssct.org
